My Grandfather b1900 was a local boat builder from Deal in Kent. He worked for Trotts boat builders and helped build the Lady Haig (one of the little ships). Before WW2 he went into business on his own and built 2 boats Gipsy King and the Moss Rose both of which are known locally to have gone to Dunkirk. I know who crewed the Gipsy King and she returned safely to Deal but would welcome any information on the Moss Rose which I believe was taken back to Scotland on the deck of a ship and never returned to Deal. I also note that these boats are not listed on this site.
I would be grateful for any information as to the roll these small boats played and especially what happen to the Moss Rose.

Thanks in anticipation
