Members and friends will be saddened to learn that Dunkirk Little Ship Tantalus, formally owned by ADLS Vice Commodore Ken Humphrey, has been lost in an accident on the Thames at Teddington. Further details can be found at http://www.riverthamesnews.com/News64 . Fortunatly no one was hurt in the accident. Ironically debris from the sunken boat have lodged under Dunkirk Little Ships Thamesa and Lazy Days moored close by.

The Association sends its sympathy and best wishes to the unfortunate owners.

Hopefully the person above

Hopefully the person above has found something personal to you. I was on the RNLI lifeboat at the scene and although we managed to rescue the little cat, unfortunately we weren't able to rescue many belongings floating downstream. We tried however the flow was pretty fast and although there were dozens of record sleeves, i'm afraid the records themselves must have gone straight to the bottom. I'm really sorry for the loss of your houseboat and belongings and hope you've managed to recover from the accident.
