Little Ships visit the Royal Victoria Docks

Due to the winds forecast for Monday and Tuesday in the Thames estuary it has been decide that the Little Ships will depart the Royal Dock around 11am on Sunday morning. This means the events scheduled for Sunday will have to be cancelled. This situation is very much regretted but as with all things nautical we are all in the hands of the 'weather gods'!

Over the weekend of 16th/17th May almost 20 Little Ships will visit the Royal Dock, London on their way down river to Ramsgate for the 75th Anniversary Return to Dunkirk. The Little Ships will be moored on the cornice just a few steps away from the Emirates cable car terminal. Nearest public transport Royal Victoria DLR. It is expected that the Little Ships will sail around the Royal Victoria Dock on Saturday evening around 7.0pm as a part of the Museums at Night event.

A commemorative service open to all will be held adjacent to the Little Ships on Sunday at 11am.

Expected time for locking in on Saturday 16th is 4.50pm. Locking out on Monday 18th around 2pm.
