I am trying to track the fate of the original Minotaur that was owned by the 1st Mortlake Sea Scouts and took part in the Dunkirk evacuation.
According to Fifty Year of Sea Scouting in Mortlake the Minotaur was sold in 1948 through the Schooner Agency of Cheyne Walk, Chelsea to a Mr C Parnett of Enfield, Middlesex.
The Sea Scouts then bought another craft a 52ft 6in ex Naval Harbour Launch (Steam). This in turn was replaced in 1956 by an ex-Admiralty H.L. (S) at Messr Hastings of Kingston-on Thames
I was informed that original Minotaur brake her back whilst being lifted for repairs and was destroyed but I don't know what date the sad end occurred.
Can any one help with this query??

Sea Scout's ex-Navy motor picket boat Minotaur

Yes I have, I was trying to build a timeline of events as I have personal involvement in the history of this little ship through my father and god father who both feature in that article
