In September 2019 Antwerp will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation and the ADLS have been invited to join that event.
Planning for this event is at an early stage. Skippers interested in taking their Little Ship to Antwerp for this event should register their interest with the Hon Events Secretary events@adls.org.uk.
On Monday June 3rd Veterans of the D-Day landings will travel to Normandy aboard a commercial ferry. The ferry will be escorted out of Portsmouth Harbour by classic vessels of the period and the ADLS has been invited to take part in this 75th anniversary event. Prior to this event the Little Ships will be on display in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
After the event it is hoped the Little Ships will visit the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes.
