Lieut. R. Nimmo, RN commanded Forty Two at Dunkirk and Derek Bromige, her 1989 owner knew the family, but then lost touch. No more is known about the ship's part in 'Operation Dynamo'. She is now moored on the river Severn near Worcester.
Built for Mr. N. West, her owner at the time of Dunkirk, by Strood Boatbuilders in Kent, she is a fine 46-footer whose original 6-cyl Morris petrol engine has since been replaced with twin BMC 2.8 Diesels.
